Aw shucks ladies - thanks for all your kind words of welcome! I'll keep the update short and sweet.....I logged off for a cup of Valerian Tea (good one Hex2!) then moved to the Isle of Man!

But whilst away things happened at home. It started with a call from DD1's tutor from college asking why she has not been in. Well after discussions with DD1 she has told me that she is pregnant and moving in with her bf and his parents! She is 16 (almost 17) so as you can guess I am totally devastated and disappointed.

No advice, just hugs for you and yours HSblinkhugs.gif

    Morning all

Greenbee - hope your flight's delayed/not delayed (pick the one of your choice) as appropriate. My local airport is suffering because of the ash this morning. DD is due to fly to Spain for 4 days on Thursday so we're hoping that the ash will have blown away by then.

Lovely sunny morning and quite warm. Have already put a load of washing on the line. Have decided I'll work to walk this morning it's not that far really and it'll save the bus fare. Have also found another job to apply for where I am working now so I need to get that app form filled in and emailed off this afternoon.

    Have a lovely day people.
