That's a big bed, you might want to think about splitting it in two, or adding a permanent path down the middle so you don't step on your growing soil.

    Looks a beautiful apple tree.

    Wow, that looks great.

Have just got a half plot today. Can you run me through how you got it looking so good - feeling overwelmed at present.

Well done, that's great progress. We've just got our first allotment, went up for a look last night. It's been dug over but there's a fair bit of grass, weeds, glass, old pottery :) to shift. Can't wait though. Bought some spuds today to start us off. Good luck.

Yeah got half a plot :) got it last week. We decided just to do a couple of seed beds to get us going for now, just finished the second one today. And we've covered the rest with black plastic sheeting to keep the weeds at bay. We dug the raised beds with a matthock my husband thinks there great!! Alot easier than using a spade. Made sure we got all the weeds out, started to rake it and get all the weeds and stones out, then eventually planted some cabbages, cauliflowers and Leeks which a neighbour at the allotment let us have :) One other chap gave us some Rhubarb yesterday and we made a rhubarb crumble :D it was delicious!!! :rotfl:

Best thing to do us do a little bit at a time and not over work yourself and dont try and do too much at once. Also ask some other people at the allotment for some advice :) am sure they will be always willing to help. GOOD LUCK :D
