Anywhere in Norfolk is a pain to get to as they haven't heard of motorways yet!

M62 east to Ferrybridge east of Leeds, A1 south as far as Lincoln then you turn left and go via Boston, Kings Lynn, Norwich to Great Yarmouth - 260 miles.

You could stay on the A1 to Peterborough then turn left and go via Wisbech and Norwich, but either way once off the A1 it can be tortuous.

Just to add ,the A1 is 15 mile away from Lincoln
You need to come off the A1 at Newark signposted A17 Sleaford ,dont come off at the first signpost for Lincoln otherwise you will be on the A57 and end up going through Lincoln

But as Dave has said it isnt the best of roads once off the A1 ,depends what time of day you are going
    Have a nice day :)

M6, A14, A11 then briefly on the A47 before getting on the Acle straight into Yarmouth. 273 miles but timed right much better than the A17 / A47 route round Boston and Kings Lynn.

There are plenty of websites that will give you routes:

    www.viamichelin.com
    www.tomtom.com
    www.theaa.com/route-planner/index.jsp
    www.rac.co.uk/route-planner

    To name just four.

    Happy planning! :)
