Hi

We are looking at changing our car to a 4X4 as we need a tow car.

We have been considering Honda's but want to know what the difference is between a Honda CRV and a Honda HRV?

Thanks for any comments

CRV is the current 4x4 in the Honda range. The HRV is more of a soft roader and some may not be 4 wheel drive. The HRV is no longer sold.

I think the HRV only came as a three door.

What do you need to tow? The Honda CRV will only two 1,500kg.

Sorry about the mis-information about the HRV only having three doors (a long time since I looked at one) but I can tell you for definite the CRV I owned (brand new at the time 2005)
absolutely loved the taste of petrol and with it not having a very large tank (in relation to the size of the car) I spent a lot of time getting to know the staff at the local petrol station.

Mate of mine has had a CRV as a company car for 6 years now, still not done 100K, we use it as transport for fishing most weekends as he gets unlimited free mileage. Good job too, it absolutely loves petrol.

High reving, noisy and has not been without faults, but worst of all far to small on the inside even with the rear seats down. He doesn't tow with it.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
