Your house is very well presented, but I would ask the estate agent to add a floor plan. Have you researched land registry sold prices for your street? https://www.houseprices.co.uk
Few vendors will seriously consider accepting an offer and taking their house off the market until you are in a proceedable position.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Hi and thanks for replying, yes i have searched the prices and to be honest it is worth the money, but not enough viewings here:mad:i fully understand no one would take there's off the market as i wouldn't either but to test the water could i make an offer do you think i am preparred to drop what i would say drastic:think: but still need a nice house bradford.I have been on property snake and the ones we are viewing have been on market alot longer.Oh thinck i'm going on a bit now.If someone came to ours and put an offer in i would allow them to do it but would still market it.The thing is i don't want to get peoples hope up cause i don't do things like that but if i don't i will never know will I.0

Lovely house. I'd snap it up for that price where I live in Somerset.
I dont know the area so couldnt tell you if the price is right. Did you get 3+ estate agents to value it before putting it on the market? Are other similar houses selling?
Maybe you could try some self advertising, adverising where you or maybe family members work (e.g office notice board, shop window etc.) or get a advert put in the local paper if your estate agent doesnt already advertise there?
Hope my suggestions help.

yes got 3 valuations and went for the lowest,it is so cheap for the area i can't understand it:(but being a seaside i suppose work is an issue.I wish i could go to sleep and wake up when it's all over,i just need to back home near my children and grandchildren.I hate not being in control, sure you don't want to move to Bridlington not as warm as somerset but it's flat and from our house you can walk to beach(blue flag) doctors supermarket hospital, town all within 15 mins and yet it's so peaceful at home, god the sales woman in me is coming out now lol:rotfl:thank you for the compliment.0

Looking on Rightmove, there are 23 properties with 3 bedrooms or more, all under £170k within 0.5 miles of your post code. Perhaps this is why you've had so few viewings, in that buyers in the area have lots of choice? Lots are £160k, so perhaps viewers are looking at these first?
Also, on google street view, your neighbour (to the left) seems to have some sort of hideous caravan thing in the drive way. Would that perhaps put people off?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I understand what your saying but on rightmove i can see only 10 detached in our area and in all honesty i can't find one to match ours and the caravan thing next door has gone for the moment. But thanks for your input.0

Was just trying to give you a point of view from someone looking to buy, and most people won't specifically search for detached properties...
Does it have a garden? Or just the concrete bit? Perhaps people are looking for a garden?
THIS one has 3 bedrooms, is detached, £10k cheaper, and has a garden.
Just trying to be objective, as you did ask for suggestions on why it wasn't selling...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

And i thank you for that yes it does have a very large back garden the one you have shown me is very near us but is very tiny in comparison. And i am grateful for all input good or bad.:)0
