Monument Platinum Visa help!

Hi All,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I had a Monument Platinum Visa credit card.

Expired 09/04.

Never used it.

I now want to cancel the account it but I cannot find a phone number anyway.
Did a search on the net. Don't have any correspondence only the card number.

I am under the impression it is linked with some bank and I can't for the life of me remember which one.
I've tried MBNA, no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe you can still avoid the dreaded 0870 number by using 01293 803187
The credit card number is all you need to cancel the account by phone.

This card is aimed at high-risk borrowers and APRs are set high.

However, the so-called "statement cheque" that comes with your monthly statement, has no handling charges. This is a useful means of transferring cash to your current account, providing you have a 0% balance transfer card at the ready, which you can transfer the balance to that is!
