If your credit report is fine, and you have a fairly good annual income, basically you should not have any problem on getting any card..0

Ah right, thanks. I got refused a barcley card one the other month so thought this ma be my problem. Also its my first credit card, so dont have much personal history.0

Best try your own bank if you want a bog standard card - they should be able to tell you whether you are eligible without credit scoring you.
If you want a card with extras you may have to prove income.0 -
i am self-employed mate also,
If you are applying for a credit card without any previous credit history you need to contact your bank first,to see what they say as they know about you,and also check your equifax&experian credit reports to see if everything is hunky dory on them, without credit history you will find it hard to be accepted for a prime credit card, but could try cap1,vanquis,or any of them0 -
thanks. i have a car on HP and a agros store card so have a bit of credit history, Also have a loan and card but they are on the business , do they count for your personal credit score?0
