Then £1.50 on cereal for breakfast at work and I used my Boots points for a meal deal at lunch time saving me £2.99

Total for the week £23 :j:j:j

My week starts on a Thursday which puts me a bit out of sinc with everyone else but seems to still work ok. I can't change it because Thursday is the only day I can get to a cash machine as we don't have one in the village and I shop a bit haphazard to wait to get cash from the supermarket.
Anyway, last week I came in at £7.36 under so am pleased with that. I did my weekly shopping tonight and after paying for lunch yesterday for me and a friend (my turn) and my half cost of a take away, I have £16.18p to last me the week. A problem lies in the fact I am going to a craft day all day tomorrow which will cost me £7-£8 without buying anything so I think it is going to be more week than money this week.
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.
  • I wasn't feeling too good at work today so bought myself some lunch from the canteen to cheer myself up a bit and spent £3.40. Still got £10.75 left of budget which is great for me. Going out for some drinks after work tomorrow night but this is coming out of another budget so hopefully I won't spend anything else and I'll have an extra £10 for next week!!

    Morning All
Went out last night with work, got my DH to take me and bring me back so made £20 on taxi fares from the work pot, and made £20 from a small bet with a colleague (just downing a cocktail- easiest money ever!)
So I've made £36.50 this week, does that actually make me purple or do I get another colour?

:TOooh, their should be a special colour for making money, I think it should be sparkly.

So far this week everyday has been a NSD :j. I'll not declare yet though as I'm not sure if tonight will be a nsd or a lsd, I'll report back tomorrow.

Pointypenguin can you sign me up for £5 for next week, thanks

    Good morning everyone!

Pointy - please can you show me red for the week with a spend of £65.13 ... I would have been green but decided to take the motorcycle down to the MOT centre and get it done early (it's not due for another fortnight) as the weather is so good at the mo. Anyway, on the plus side, it passed with no probs, so other than the £29.65 cost of the MOT, I didn't have to hand over any more cash to the garage.

Next week I have a few big spends planned, so I'll pledge £160 for W/C 23rd May 2010.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone ... remember to 'slip on a shirt, slop on the suncream and slap on a hat'!

    Hi there,

last week I spent £1.51 - and not entirely necessary at that. But it is a GREEN week for me again. PP, could you please put me down for £5 again, please.
