Help - management company nightmare!

Hi Everyone,

We are supposed to exchange any day and were planning to move next friday, but the only thing holding us all up is a response to a letter that our solicitor sent to our managment company with a query on 18th July. We are selling a leasehold one bed flat. Our solicitor has been trying to contact them for over 2 weeks, as have we and our estate agents. All we can do is leave message upon message on their answer phone or leave a message with the secretary when she eventually answer the phone.

What further action can we take? They seem to be a very small outfit, and don't show they belong to any governing body only that the main owner is F.R.I.C.S , as he is also a surveyor.

Any advice would be gratefully received... thanks in advance

Go round to their office and engage with a real human being?
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
  • Hi - we've tried that, my husband went to their 'offices' - a shed behind an estate agents, which was shut.

The main owner (the surveyor) does he have an office?
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.
  • Yes that is his office!
