Kontiki appears to be some graphics solution, assuming this is the same as you are running. Might not be as it was only a quick google.....

Isn't Kontiki, (formerly associated with spyware,) now being used as the P2P component of i-player.

It used to be, but I think that iPlayer has changed it's method of distribution now.
I don't think it uses P2P any more.

Fair enough, but Kontikti is still running on many machines.
Have a look at the many HijackThis logs posted, it's a fairly regular entry.

It does not get deleted when iplayer changed not to use. I would delete it using Control Panel - Add / Remove programs.

It's not my problem,
I was only answering post #9 , then bat999, added info and I wanted to point out that while it may be no longer used, it is still present and running on many machines.;)
