Anyone used clubcard vouchers in Goldsmiths?

We too have Tesco vouchers that expire at the end of this month and trying to figure out how best to use them!
Does anyone know if they enforce the rule about not using the vouchers to buy sale stuff?
Off the clubcard rewards site:-
"Rewards tokens cannot be used in conjunction with sale items, any other special offer, scheme or promotion, and cannot be exchanged in whole or part for cash.":heartpuls Married the Man of my Dreams on Friday 8th April 2011 :heartpuls:female: Little Lady Due Friday 8th July 2016 :female:0 -
Friends of mine did this for their wedding rings and said they were really good. She had to get her engagement ring resized and was pleased with the results.0

Do you know if they charged to resize her engagement ring? I need mine altering due to losing weight. Going to ask when buying rings and some other jewellery (in case they will do it for free) but before we use the vouchers :money:0 -
In case anyone didn't know...
if you've got high value vouchers that are due to expire but want to save them, then you can use them to buy a £2.50 reward (restaurant vouchers etc) and they'll credit the change back on to your statement. So if you had a £25 voucher with a short date on it, rather than wasting the whole lot on something you don't really want/need, spend £2.50 of it and the remaining £22.50 will go back on your statement with another 2 years on it.
Alternately, buy something desireable like Drayton Manor tickets, Merlin passes etc, and then flog them on Ebay!0 -
My hubby to be didn't realise you could use the vouchers and had already bought my engagement ring @ goldsmiths - though did get barclaycard rewards money, however we are saving the vouchers up now for the wedding bands which will be a great help! Very helpful jewellers can recommend
