Anyone used clubcard vouchers in Goldsmiths?

Always thought I would go back to the Jeweller in the Jewellery quatre for my wedding ring, and had a quote of about £600 for a matching platinum ring.

But on a friends reccomendation I checked out a few high street shops yesterday and found a lovely matching platinum ring in H Samuels for £450. Happy with this.

Last night remembered that Goldsmiths let you use clubcard vouchers! So had a nose on their website and there is a ring that would match for £550 so about £135 in vouchers (which we have and are trying to get rid of as £50 expires end of May). BUT I need to go to my local Goldsmiths which is a 45 minute drive away to try it on first, then order the vouchers and then go back to buy the bloody thing.

Has anyone used them before, and have they been good?

I use goldsmiths quite a bit, they are very good in my experience. Tesco vouchers are worth 4x at goldsmiths if i remember rightly.

    Hi
I used Tesco Clubcard vouchers to buy my wedding ring, grooms ring and presents for bridesmaids/bestman etc. I went in and had a look at what I wanted first. I ordered the vouchers from Tesco and went back into shop and they ordered the ring in my size etc as well as resizing bracelets etc. They were really good and a great way of using Clubcard Vouchers to reduce the cost of wedding stuff! Good luck!

Depends on how many vouchers you have but, you can get 14% quidco

How do you get the 14% quidco? Is it on the voucher reclaiming part or the ordering? Surely I need to order the ring in store to use the vouchers? But please explain!!

We have £60 of vouchers (£240 in deals) that expires in 2 weeks, and theres nothing else we want to spend them on. Plus we have enough vouchers to make up the full cost of the ring.

We've been struggling to spend the deal vouchers lately as there isn't much in the book we like. But this could work out well!!

Dont think you can use Quidco with Clubcard as that would be if you ordered direct from the Goldsmiths site via Quidco :(

We used Goldsmiths for part of my engagement ring as I wouldn't have let OH pay as much as the ring cost if we hadn't used the vouchers

Quidco is a site that links to a website, and you get commission for buying through them. You can't have both, but you could possibly save more. By buying through quidco, but it does depend on how many vouchers you have from tesco.

I use quidco quite a bit, but was unsure how it would work with the vouchers.

I do have enough vouchers to cover the entire ring :D

You have to use the vouchers instore & can't order online with them so dont think you would be able to use Quidco.

I used my tesco vouchers in Goldsmiths towards my boyfriends Hugo Boss watch for christmas, changed £50 for vouchers into a £200 goldsmiths voucher, this is the smallest amount you can change. I paid the rest in cash, very easy to do & for 4 times the amount that has to be money saving!!

I was well chuffed, we got OH wedding ring from there and thinking of getting me some jewellery from there too.

It doesn't apply to OP but as Kate mentioned there is a minimum spend of £200 but other than that we were really impressed with them!

(Just trying to bump up my shopping list to £200 now on wedding day jewellery so I can buy bits with the vouchers!)
    Bump due 22nd September
