SCS problem

On easter bank holiday I bought a 2 seater and 2 chairs from SCS, they said delivery would be 4-6wks. All well and good, they have put in their policy that you can't change your mind after 7 days.
Of course I got offered a lounge suite for cheaper, I asked if I could cancel and the fact I rang up after the 6wks had gone and still no lounge suite from SCS.
I was told I can't cancel my order as the suite had been made up but not gone to the warehouse for delivery.

Can I cancel that order still even if it does go to the warehouse?

No, you are bound by the terms of the contract. The delay at the moment, is not of serious consequence, it is still only 6 weeks after ordering. Did you ensure "time is of the essence" was inserted into the order contract ?

Didn't realise I could. I'll have too see what they send me, if it's not what I ordered it's going back.
I shall wait too see what colour I get as I asked for one type of mink colour, but the lady wasn't too sure even after the salesman showed her the colour. So if it's the wrong colour or any other defects it's going straight back. Or I'll do what my grandad did, sit outside and tell everyone WHY!!!

Sounds like you have already decided it is the wrong colour before even seeing it.

No I had chosen the colour I wanted and was happy with it. I was just mentioning the fact the woman behind the counter, said she didn't know what to put it under. If she's put it under the wrong colour even though it was verified I can still send it back.
And reading what others have said about things wrong with it, I'm hoping it's fine if not I will return it.
