ESA (C) and Pension

Unfortunately I have been granted retirement on the grounds of ill health:( I am trying to decide the best way forward as to whether to accept a lump sum or plough it all into my monthly pension. I am aware that anything over £80 per week will affect my ESA. Im not talking that much - I wish! More like £50 a week. If I accepted a lump sum would that affect my ESA (C)?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

A lump sum would not affect ESA (C) as it is not means tested.0
