True. However, no one should be fooled simply because their email/letter doesn't come from Nigeria as the scene is no longer dominated solely by Nigerians, as they have been joined by Ghanaians, Cameronians and those from Cote d'Ivoire amongst others). In addition, many of the West African organised frauds are actually based out of S. Africa. That's aside from the many Russians, eastern Europeans and now Far Eastern nationals who have come up with their own variations on the theme.

The most recent and lucrative revamp by far of the overall advance-fee type fraud certainly has its origin in Nigeria but the idea behind it dates back a couple of centuries, to the late 1700's, at least when it was known IIRC as the "Jerusalem Letter"
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
