    Xmas Saver!
I wouldn't know about wedding flower prices, areas vary, but the 1st thought that comes to me would be are the flowers in season, if there not and more to import?

Sure someone will be more knowledgeable soon,

like mum2one just said, it cost more to import flowers if the flowers are not in season. if this helps my bridal bouquet which will be pretty much similar to this

    file_51_2.jpg costs £130

my gold rose button holes costs £3.50

but got these 2 with my entire decor package for £1500, so need to get my bridesmaids bouquets and top table arrangment. guna be expensive i think coz i want gold roses and lily of the valley (and that is expensive, but its sentimental in my family so want to keep it in the family)

    I'm paying:

£90 for my bouquet - roses & orchids; £6.50 for OH's boutonniere; £12 for 4 buttonholes; £10 for 1 rose wrist corsage; £12 each for fresh corsages; £15 for 1 silk corsage; £25 for mum's thank-you flowers; £50 for top table arrangement; and £20 for cake flowers.

I think your quote is pretty good for the amount of flowers - have you shopped around to see what other florists would charge?

It sounds a little pricey- I would definitely say shop around a few places. Although you do have quite expensive flowers in there.. all those rose and diamanties!! :)

It's looking like mine will cost:

    BRIDES
HANDTIED BOUQUET OF PURPLE DOUBLE LISIANTHUS £75.00

    GROOM BUTTONHOLE
Purple Double Lisianthus with foliage £3.50

    OTHER BUTTONHOLES
    X5 White/Purple variagated double Lisianthus £3.50 EACH £17.50

    BRIDESMAID
X1 HANDTIEDS HALF THE SIZE OF THE BRIDES £35.00

LARGE TABLE DISPLAY FOR CEREMONY/TOP TABLE £65

    Total: £195.

    No delivery charge

Definitely shop around..a lot of the flowers in those bouquets that you have chosen are not grown in the UK so have to be imported thus bumping up the cost.

Costs vary from area to area and from florist to florist - high end market florists charge through the nose for flowers. Try looking for english grown flowers that are in season as those will be a lot cheaper.

    Hi Jay

I'm in Leeds area, and I can put you in a touch with a colleague of mine who does floristry.

She does the floristry and I do the stationery, favours etc.

I'm quite sure she won't charge as much as that, so if you would like her details, just let me know.
