Do u definitly want to have real flowers? We're having artificial as 1. they are so much cheaper - 2. we both suffer with hayfever and 3. will be nice to be able to keep them forever. We've got a big bouquet of ivory roses with purple feathers and diamonte, 5 bridesmaid bouquets which are the same but about half the size, a flowergirl wand, and 4 button holes - and it's come in at £118 including delivery. Might be something to think about if you're not fussed about having real flowers . Hope this helps xx

    Hi Jay

I'm in Leeds area, and I can put you in a touch with a colleague of mine who does floristry.

She does the floristry and I do the stationery, favours etc.

I'm quite sure she won't charge as much as that, so if you would like her details, just let me know.

Jay - instead of having roses shipped in from Kenya..look at English Roses they will have travelled less miles.

Google - traditional english wedding flowers - quite a few suppliers will pop up. I recently did that for someone that I know who is getting married next month and I found her a florist in Powys which is 1.5hrs drive from her venue who will actually deliver on the day of the wedding (some places won't deliver on Mondays for Monday weddings).

Hi i am new to all this so hopefully this goes ok!! I have been quoted such a range of prices for my flowers its mad!! Ranging from £500 up to over £1000!! I am paying £600 for my bouquet- anthurium lillies in which are quite expensive and having these in registrar/top table arrangement also. 3 bridesmaids bouquets, and table arrangements for 9 tables. 4 which are in the big martini glass vases, 6 in mirrored square glasses and 2 in big tall vases (didn't want them all the same lol!) 7 buttonholes, 2 thank you bouquets and 2 bay trees. Although it seems alot the florist i am i using works from home and i am getting alot more for my money than anywhere else. I found that having seasonal flowers doesn't work out any cheaper as everything is so readily available eg the Dutchman delivers!! Hope this helps and sorry to ramble!! x
