I need a real quick response on this, doing a charitable event, taking photos, local businessman offered to lend me printer so I can print photos off at the event to raise money in aid of Help For Heroes. Ive contacted someone via ebay about glossy photo paper as Im unsure what sort of printer he is loaning me and wondered if inkjet and laser printers would print on inkjet paper............hope that makes sense, he didnt know but god bless his cotton socks he has offered the inkjet photo paper for free and we put the money in the pot for him. Does anyone know if inkjet paper will print on a laser printer to a good quality?

Last time I used a colour laser printer (admittedly a few years ago now) the quality of photo reproduction was not good. I'm fairly sure you could use glossy photo paper in a laser, but I don't think it will help much in terms of quality - they are really meant for colour text, diagrams, logos, etc.
If you're going to borrow an inkjet, be prepared to have plenty of cartridges with you, as you'll get through a shedload if you're printing lots of photos!0
