My free kitchen floor

Just wanted to share my moneysaving today - feeling really pleased with myself. I needed/wanted £80 of stuff to redo my kitchen floor so I spent this morning at a car boot clearing out the clutter - made £49, took advantage of discount days and vouchers at the DIY stores and got £14 discount - used £17 worth of points amassed on my nectar card, so, with my boot sale cash, I only had to spend £1 of the money I had in my purse when I left home this morning - so it feels like I've got my floor for virtually nothing. :T

I had my first carboot a few weeks ago and made just over £40. Clearing out the old and using the money to buy something new is very rewarding.
