MSE Dyson repairs

had the motor blow on a DC07 Animal , they wanted £70 for a Dyson rep to fix it , did it the MSE way by buying a new motor off ebay for £17 and following the instructions on this web site. Apparently the motor blows as Dyson claim that the filters work 100% effective 100% of the time , but the motor one clogs up and causes…

OP, Browntoa The main motor exit filter is required part to clean. The overheating motor has a thermal cutout and resets automatically having cooled down.

Quality for sure.

taken your advice now and changing the other filter on the inlet to be sure its all working 100 %
