Ryanair has got my gender wrong!

Just went to the "manage my booking" part of website, and my booking looks fine - got first name and surnames right, but when I go to check in I'm down as a MR (and I'm actually a MRS). I've not checked in online as obviously my documents wont match the title, but do you think Ryanair will want to charge me to change my name because the title is wrong? I'm guessing I made a mistake when booking, but I've checked my boooking since to confirm it was right and as it just gives the full name and not title could not see the error. We fly on Wednesday so I can wait til Monday when the're open to call, but am stressing I'll get charge £100 for something so silly .... (but it is ryanair!)
2009 total raised £2373.60:j
the new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o
2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
2013 - twins now 14 mths old - lets get sorted!

How much would you like to bet?

I'll bet they change it if you make a quick call.

    Gambling is for mugs.

    Try William Hill.

    Gamble with what exactly?

The airline has an impeccable safety record and one of the best amongst world airlines.

    Or something else?

  • What happened?
This has happened to me also. I travel in a week but my booking confirmation from the online agent (dreamfinder) has my partners name just highlighted as Sylvia. Went to book in and now Ryanair have added Mr infront of this - obviously its not Mr but Ms. But when i booked, i was never asked for any titles so did you get charged to change the MR to MS or did you just gamble? As far as it goes its not a name change, the passports dont have titles on them therefore boarding pass names would match passport names .
Are ryanair just making these titles up to gain more revenue?

I think you've answered your own question. If the names must match passports and the passports don't show titles then the title is irrelevant for the boarding pass/passport check.
