BA damaged my bag but can't get in touch with them to claim

A few weeks ago I took a flight with BA and on arriving back at Heathrow I found they had run over my bag with a vehicle and damaging it quite badly. I reported it straight away and was given a reference number - they have already admitted liability.
Since the incident I have heard nothing back from BA and every time I try to call their customer service line I get cut off because it is too busy. I have tried to contact them by mail but have heard nothing back since.
What is the best way to deal with this, am I going to have to take them to court or something?

Have you sent a recorded delivery letter detailing how much you're claiming with copies of receipts? Tell them in the letter that they have 14 days to reply, and as you've tried contacting them numerous times before, you will have no other option but to take them through the small claims court if they don't respond.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

I've already done that. I realise they may have a lot on at the moment but that really isn't any of my concern, I just want my bag repairing / replacing.
Looks like a recorded delivery letter may be the way forward.0 -
