Removing Euro signs off display?

I don't know if I have pressed something in error, but my listings and any searches are all showing the amounts in euros. For example an item I am watching in America is showing how much the dollars = in euros instead of sterling.
Anyone - can you please tell me how to get it back to sterling? Sorry if its an obvious but dumb question
