Yup, all moved in and packed away

Pictures please Elf... I want to see all the ikea flat packed stuff you put away
Ames - it can't hurt to write. I'd like to meet up at the weekend rather than Monday, so I don't have to take holiday to come.
LMC - that was exactly my thinking - Bath/Bristol is close enough to be do-able. We will all need to find an MSE activity to do there
Perhaps vouchers for a coffee or all go on a mystery shop

Ames, I am going to 'hint' when the next rotas come up to have the Monday off to come to Bath. However Sunday in Bristol is fine for me. If you want to do some MSE the museum/art gallery is free and should be open on Sunday. Or there are tons of cafe in the centre. I don;t want to suggest anything too far due to walking distance. *Sorry LMC, I type far too slowly, you just mentioned that above*
Luc, you have to do what you have to do. I took a week off a few weeks back and loved it. I think if you have other things in your life (children/husbands/partners/college etc) then you have to manage your time better and maybe DC/MSE has to take a back seat. Because I have none of the above I need not worry and I won't/don't feel guilty if I am online for one hour or 15 in a day. However saying that I don't need to be online as I used to, before I used to wonder what everyone is up to while in work etc etc and rush home to catch up. Now I don't

Hi pap,
The only museum I've ever been to in Bristol is the hands on science one - I soaked the front of my skirt and had no change of clothes with me  It was good fun though.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -

There's always the Roman Baths whichi s £11.50 to wonder round. In all honesty it's not that great.
There's a free art musuem http://www.victoriagal.org.uk/ and there's lots fo coffee shops too!!!

Not been to Bristol in a long time. last time I went out in Bristol, I had a slug in my salad, yes you read that right! And then my date and I moved on somewhere else and settled on a chocolate pudding and the cream was off!!0 -
lmc - I think we should not let you pick the restaurant then

I like the sound of £14 far better than £24. Is that for the smaller pool in your link pap? Looks like the offers are far cheaper for residents and disabled people (I especially approve of the discount for disabled people). I just thought of the baths as it is a thing I've heard of and never been to. I had no idea about prices when I suggested it.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009.
