Morning all.

Today will be my last appearance on chat for a while so I thought I might as well start it;)

I'm not going permanently or because I've been upset. I'm taking a break because I find I am neglecting other important areas to hit F5 on a regular basis to see if anyone has posted anything interesting.

I will be updating my diary on a semi regular basis if anyone wants to pop in and say Hi and I will be on FB (largely because with the phone I've got its impossible to escape from )

Anyway, having had the arrogance to assume anyone will care if I'm here or not, I shall get on with my morning.

Love and cuddles all around.

Morning Luc and all to follow.

Luc you will be missed but enjoy your time, new job, young son. There are lots of competing priorities and something always has to give.

    See you soon, hopefully.

Thanks for starting Chat today Luc. I care because you seem to impart gems of wisdom and kindness which I sometimes find useful. Having said that a life is to be lived for real rather than attached to the F5 button (wish you hadn't told me that one - won't help me to step away from the computer). What is the title of your diary so I can find it?

My tip for today is for anyone going in for surgery or who knows anyone going in for surgery. Make sure you/they have stockpiled some coke (of the liquid form) and ginger nuts. If you find Co-codamol (for post-operative pain relief) is making you feel sick take a ginger nut with it.

My song for yesterday (thanks Bun) was 'I can see clearly now', my song for today is 'What a difference a day makes'. I'm amazed what a good nights sleep can do for you. I'm feeling :T

Hope you all have a lovely day. I'd better not do any gardening but will be sitting out on my balcony with my huge celebrity style sunglasses on (and no glass of wine - damn)....and a cup of tea.

Cheers to all you lovely folk especiallly Luc

I am here. Would be good to see you;)

Glad you are feeling better. How long did they say until you're 100%

(I do admire your courage - I would love to live without contacts/glasses but am too chicken (and poor:p) to do the surgery)

    Hello people

Luc. Is the title right? Is it not the 15/16 of May? And beware the perils of Facebook. It's no better on the dark side you know...

    And Butti - balcony...get you...;)

Right must get on. Usual weekend chores to do, shopping to be got, at least the sun is out and it does feel a bit warmer this morning.

Have a good day all. See you later.
  • Morning,

Luc - we shall miss you very much on this thread, as you offer great gems of wisdom and great fashion and fitness tips. I do fully understand your reasoons for leaving us for a while, you've got a lovely son who needs your attention, a husband and a new job.

    We shall miss you.

Butti, glad things are slowly improving and I admire your bravery for getting it done. Cheers for the tip abotu ginger biscuits; I may have to buy them when I venture into town! :rotfl:

    Elliemoo - morning.

I'll be venturing into town in a bit to see my mum and give her volunteers a home made chocolate cake to munch on. It's the least I can do as they buy me the radley bags that come into the shop.

I need to find some black curtains and blackout blind for my bedroom; yes the colour scheme is black to fit around the bed. Don't worry the walls aren't black they are white.

My OH will be home next weekend :j:j and he's been promoted as well. And he's been working with the company for less than a year.

    Have a fab weekend everyone.

I think it's about 3 days before I can 'go back to work' (oh the irony!), don't know how long it is until I'm back to normal (some would say never!!!) but the celebrity sunglasses look lasts for 6 months.

I'm more excited because I was worried how long I would feel crap before I head off to see the Scotsman and see how that's going. At this rate I will be fine.

Right Luc, I'm going to take a leaf from your book and step away from the computer.

See you all later (don't forget your sun cream)

  • Morning all

I will also be avoiding chat for a while, this place is meant to be about me getting out of debt, not defending my job.

Z I see that you replied this morning to the old chat. I won't continue the argument, it would achieve nothing. You have your views and I have mine.

    Enjoy the Sunshine folks
