I was having a lot of problems with my laptop this past week and did a full restore and since I did this my cursor has been driving me crazy.
When im typing all of a sudden my typing will !!!!!! off to wherever my cursor is, leaving me with jumbled up sentences. If I hover over a link for more than a few seconds the cursor will click it and if the cursor is at the bottom of the screen the page will jump down. Also as im moving the cursor across the screen it will randomly highlight bits.
I had problems like this before and managed to sort it out, but its been that long that ive forgotton what I did to sort it.
Any help appreciated.

Have you looked on the laptop manufacturers website to make sure you have the most up to date drivers for your touchpad? That's probably where the problem lies.
I can't get on with touchpads so have a wireless mouse. I turn the touchpad off so I can't accidentally "click" on anything!!In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Download the latest drivers.
Check the settings within the software.0 -
Go to Control panel and click mouse option and see all the settings.0

Can someone please tell me how do we update the driver? I'm not that techie minded0 -
Im sorted now.
Just switched the tapping off in the mouse setting through control panel and all is well.
