How do I uninstall ASK toolbar please?
it doesn't appear in my progs to uninstall in the control panel0 -
probably joined to your internet explorer as a plugin
That said, im sure it will be there (Sometimes known as ASKBAR DIS or the YAHOO TOOLBAR)
if you cant find it then leave it and run combofix (FIX those hijack this itens first though):idea:0 -
I've managed to get rid of all the malware stuff, removed the parts of hijack mentioned and find the Ask Taskbar - something called Vuse(?) so that's gone.
Now trying to download the combo stuff thanks.0 -
VUSE ~ P2P software (Generally used for illegal downloading). I didnt realise they also used the ASK toolbar though:idea:0
