Company in administration but refusing to hand over a paid for buggy

Hello I hope you can help. Im asking on behalf of one of my friends who purchased a new baby buggy from Derrys in Plymouth, who has gone into administration this week. She bought the buggy before this became public knowledge and paid in full using debit card and cash. However she went in today to get the buggy and they are refusing to give it to her. Does anyone know what rights she has?

Not a lot...she's going to way down the list for a refund!0

If the debit card doesnt qualify for a chargeback as said she needs to contact the administrators, register her claim and wait for a 10p in the pound payout.
She unfortunately has no rights at this time to the goods or a refund from the store/administrator.0 -
If she has paid in full and the goods have been "earmarked" for her i.e. have her name on them then she is entitled to the goods. Otherwise she will have to wait until the priority creditors get paid.
At this point she really needs to register her interest with the administrators and cross her fingers !"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

As Optimist says. Stake a claim on a particular buggy and insist that title had transferred.0

If she's paid in full and can prove it, then she should just take it. If they kick up a fuss, tell them they're welcome to call the police!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

If after taking the above advice she then needs a good barrister I happen to know one down Plymouth way :rotfl::rotfl:"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Well what exactly are the shop going to do??? Call the police? Not much use if the customer can prove it belongs to them!
it's worth a try, otherwise the OP will end up with 10% of the value if they're lucky!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
