Season two sees the return of Golden Globe® nominees Jennifer Beals (Flashdance) and Pam Grier (Escape From LA, Jackie Brown), as well as some new faces, including Sarah Shahi (TV’s Dawson’s Creek) and British actress Rachel Shelley (The Bone Snatcher). It also includes a host of glamorous guest appearances from the bands Betty and Heart, musician Peaches, Gloria Steinem, Sandra Bernhard and many others.
Set in the heady world of Los Angeles, The L Word takes an intimate look at the impassioned lives of a small, close-knit group of lesbians and the friends and family who either support or scorn them.
Following on from the hugely popular first season, season two picks up with on-off lovers Bette Porter (Beals) and Tina Kennard (Laurel Holloman) hitting stormy waters as they try to heal their fractured relationship. As the story progresses, the characters are wracked with new discoveries. Break- ups, babies and sexy newcomers add to explosive plotlines.
In addition to 13 hotter-than-ever episodes, The L Word - Season Two is loaded with luscious extras, including cast commentaries and seven featurettes.
