Hey, i work in WHSmith and can give some extra info if ppl need it.
Firstly, there wont be much stock. This is clearance lines, all this stock is reduced just to get rid. None of it will be in deliveries and you wont be able to order at this price either.
The offer started last Friday, so most of the stock will probably be gone by now.
Have a look at the front of store, take a good look around as all the multimedia offers will not necessarily be at the chart stands. Is there a comprehensive list for the xbox and does it apply to the Classics range as well?
I'm not 100% sure on this, we didn't get a full list, our new system printed off a list of the stock we had in store to be priced changed. I do know that GTA Classic is in the chart at £19.99 where as the original is just £9.99also had eyetoy play2 + camera for £4.99
This is a great deal, although i think you got the price wrong. I think thats £5.99, and the original is £4.99. Beware with hardware though, things tend to go missing, although it should be checked before it goes it i know we had a problem with the eye toy original being put out and then we couldn't find the game and camera.
I don't know if this has been mentioned but the Nintendo DS cases are just £1, and were £6.99 (i think, not 100% on that) but all 6 we had were sold within a day.
There isn't a great deal of £1 offers, companies often do this just to make the deal look better "Games from £1"
Hope this helps,

I just got EyeToy Play 2 for £4.99 and EyeToy Kinetic for £5.99 from the St Stephen's branch of WH Smith in Norwich.
There's not much else there - one Donkey Konga with bongos for £9.99 left plus Polarium and Project Rub (DS) for £4.99.
There was a girl in front of me in the queue who had a whole pile of stuff. :mad:0
