So I have phoned Manchester (after being given the number) managed to get 3 different Singstar games all with mikes. OMG £8.99 each. Big thnx goes out to OP and to Whsmith customer services:money:

in ventura park smiths today at 2.30 there were plenty of x box games for £1 some gamecube games £2.49 somes ps2 games £2.99 no game boy advance games left though

Sorry you didnt get any. I Got 1 singstar 80's £8.99 ps2 (last one on shelf) and 4 others.... individual titles for xbox @ £1 each this morning .(harlequin)...There was lots £1 xbox left on shelves when i left around 11 am.
Noticed tho that they had loads without original covers/boxes for sale at £6....some of these included titles that were on the £1 list.............might be worth taking the list from here that you know are £1 ...seeing if you can find any of them in the ones with missing boxes.........and asking at desk to price check (thats if the cover box etc isnt important to you).

picked up afew games today at £1 eaach very happy, what is best place for trading in? Who gives best prices

you could try Game or Gamestation if you have one local to you

If you got to blockbusters ask for a trade reward card
For every game you trade in you get two stickers on the card and 6 stickers give you a free rental when you get 12 stickers you get an extra £10 credit

I traded in some of the games I bought and in total for 6 games from whsmith which cost me £6 I got £11 credit and then the extra £10 so in total i got £21 credit whcih i gonna but a few new dvds with but thats the store credit price if you want cash you dont get as much £!!

Crash Twinsanity is £4 trade in at GAME, i got three copies, and the assistant was confused and actually checked with her supervisor! Going back in tomorrow, taking them to gamestation - not got the heart to rip off my work team!
