    No yellow question marks?

Wireless Drivers here. I guess you saw the 'back up drivers' post too late. :) Have you switched it on using the button at the front?

    Hi

Only question marks are on Bluetooth, Audiocontroller, network controller, PCI Modem, Unknown Device, Video Controller

Yes did back up drivers - how do I use them on the new install of XP?

Just tried running a copy of Driver Backup from a USB stick but got an error - initilisation failed....and numbers after it.

Erm.... to which location did you save the drivers? If you've 'lost' them it isn't a problem, as the website has them. It just adds the complication of determining which you need to install. Have you checked the link in post #23 and downloaded the missing drivers from there? Also, have you tried searching for the drivers via the Device manager? Either way, install the obvious drivers from the HP website. It's clear that you haven't installed any of the drivers needed after a reinstall.

I saved the drivers to an external HD - how can I copy these over?

Via the Device Manager > Update Drivers and pointing towards the relevant location on the external drive?
I haven't used the program before, so am not aware of the format used.
Have you downloaded the drivers from the HP website if all else fails?

Use the Belarc Advisor to let you know which hardware is installed to your system. This should help you to decide which Wireless driver to install.
Have you downloaded the drivers from the HP website, yes or no?
