i would hold the champagne until the account is actually closed in writing and you are no longer getting billed

When I cancelled my own sky recently instead of all the usual hassle, the young lady realised I wanted to cancel immediately and didnt hit me with the sales pitch or any offers.

Direct debit is cancelled, Sky box no longer works for anything other than terrestrial channels, looking good so far...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
