I don't do anything exciting on the net, bit of browsing, emails, itunes etc, nothing major, I have a big old desktop stuck up in the back bedroom and I feel a bit anti social being stuck up their, so am thinking of getting an Asus eeepc, its a bog standard netbook 1GB ram Atom processor etc, would this do all I need for living room browsing?

Don't do it, the screen is too small and if you discover limitations, it will be too late. They are really suitable for mobile use. Get a laptop or just a netbook with a bigger screen0

Hi
I've got a Samsung NC10 and It's brill for word processing when I'm at Uni. The screen is 10" and as Donnie says great for mobile use. Prefer my laptop/desktop for web browsing and other internet stuff.
