Glowgirl PLEASE dont take the risk it if you have a hint of red to your hair.

I used this the other month and had a hint of red to my hair and it turned it almost an orange colour I was in tears and now have to have dark hair to cover it up ( and the whole point of it was to make it lighter) and the task of colouring it constantly trying to cover the orange type tone for months to come.
I prosume it did this because it was a redish tone I think this only works on browns/black nothing with a shimmer to it.

I honestly wouldnt take the risk if it has a hint of a redish tone after what happened to mine.

I think the general rule is that it only really works if your repairing a mistake which you made within the last 24 hours, anything longer and you risk bright orange!
I used it within the 24 hours and still turned it orange :(

I have just used this stuff and it worked on XXL Reds!

My hair is now back to it's original auburn brown colour although it does have a hint of ginger to it which should come out when I put a colour on it again later. I've got a dark blonde colour so that it goes a medium brown, the trick is to use a much lighter colour than you want to achieve if your hair is very porous and absorbs colour easily (like mine).

I am :j now that my red is gone and I can have a nice brown with some highlights :D

Where does the time go?
  • It worked fine for me (taking out a build-up of dark brown level 2). Yo do need to rinse for what seems like ages though.
