Just recently brought a net book and have a few questions.
1) How do i know if its WPA or WEP enabled.
2) What sort of security measures do i need to take on a wireless network.
3) Should i change the default passwords etc on my router.

It's not your net book you set up to enable WPA or WEP, it's your router you need to set up.
Your router will be the box that goes between your telephone socket and your computer.
Read the instructions as to how to get into the router box to perform this security measure.0
