Is there a way to get music from youtube to MP3?

Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to get music/audio from videos on youtube and save it as an MP3 file?

I know I haven't described that in the best technical term but I'm hoping some techie minded people may know what I mean

If you use Firefox browser there is an addon called DownloadHelper that does the job.

Yeah, I hadn't thought of it like that, I'm actually wanting to get hold of a speech that was made at an event I went to but I can see how it could be mis-used/abused
