Student loan form filling problems

Is anyone else having trouble with the government forms for student loans? Basically we've filled in the extremely long forms to apply for a student loan for our daughter but after reaching the end and pressing the" save " button it now appears to have been registered but not submitted. We received this info in an e-mail but subsequently when we go back onto the site and log in, there doesn't seem to be an option to "submit". Any ideas?

I do understand that you're trying to help your daughter but you do realise that she is the one taking out the loan and being responsible for the repayments?0
-
Of course, it's just that she asked for our help due to the long winded and complex forms, and also we as parents are to be means tested so our input is also needed.0

They aren't that long winded! Passport forms are worse imo.
Anyway, how far has she got through the sections? There are 7 sections. Each completed section should have a tick next to it.
Make sure that's all ticked first.0 -
Oh also - MAKE SURE YOUR DAUGHTER WRITES DOWN THE ART ID AND PASSWORD SOMEWHERE WHERE SHE WON'T FORGET.
Yes I had to write that in capitals. The number of threads people make because they can't write down 2 words is unbelivable.0 -
Thanks for the quick reply, yes she's got to the stage where all the boxes were ticked pressed "save" and that seemed to be it! When we now log in there is nothing resembling the column of ticked boxes, so we assumed the details had been submitted but then received an e-mail saying she has been registered but still needs to submit the details.0

OK. Well as parents you need to have your own application, have you done this yet?0

I've sent mine in and received an e-mail saying that my daughter needs to submit her form to continue. My wife hasn't sent hers in yet as we are trying to get around this "submit" problem.0

I printed it off and sent it by post, had no problems or delays like a lot of folk, that was last year, have done the same this year.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

We had a lot of problems. I registered to support sons application and got e-mail saying I need do nothing til he'd submitted his. He kept getting to the screen where he entered my details and then it said he'd done it and I'd get an e-mail asking me to submit my application. Then when he hit the next button he got an error message and I got no e-mail. In the end I submitted a paper copy and since then the system has let him in. What I hadn't realised though was that me and my OH (not his dad) have to each apply to support him, I'd put our combined income on the one form. So now we have to go and do it again. It's doing my head in!!!0
