BMI Baby Flight Refunds

Can anyone help?

I had 2 flights cancelled by BMI because of the volcanic ash

Their web site advised l should write to obtain a refund

I have twice but no response and they dont take phone calls!

So stuck on how to get my money back

Write a letter before action (google it for samples), giving them (say) 14 days to produce the refund.

Send it recorded delivery.

While you are waiting for their response, read about money claims online.

I would have thought so too, I wouldn't be doing a letter before action just yet. Give them a few weeks and try again.

How long since you wrote to them? I would have thought that they would have a lot of claims coming in and the need to verify them and check all the details will make the process fairly time consuming.

Has anyone had any luck getting refunds from BMIbaby yet? we booked through travel agent that is dealing with flight refund but have yet to hear anything, first flight was cancelled on 15th april, we ended up getting coach back from prague. Have recieved refund for extra nights stay at hotel from insurance but no joy with flights just wondered if just us?!
