We are a small business starting to print our own training manuals and are looking for a colour laser printer with auto duplexing.
We therefore need one with a small footprint and have been looking at a Brother HL 4050CDN and an HP Colour LaserJet CP2025dn.
Reading online reviews for both gives positives and negatives and we are leaning towards the Brother model due to the alleged annual running costs but are concerned that it could be prone to other problems such as paper curl, jams etc.
Can anyone offer advice on either of these models or recommend one they have experience in using?
Regards
Drew

Have you priced up costs of replacement toners for these at all? I have used a Brother HL 1440 for many years and it still works perfectlyl.
I have also used the HP 2015dn which was terrible and also the HP 2500n. Both of which regularly get paper jams and just sound terrible when in use.
However HP have got better with their more recent models. I have seen a lot of HP CP3505 printers in use and they seem to produce pretty good results. HP Coloursphere toners do produce good images.
Personally I think the HP looks a bit better than the Brother but if it was my choice I'd go with the Brother option!0 -
Some Brother models have a free 3 year on site warranty offer, see Brother Website for details.0
