Dress - I've been stupid (twice!)

NearlyMrsFord, if you are looking to put the dress on Ebay or Preloved etc, I know that when I am looking for the ladies here, I always prefer an acutal picture of the dress on a person. That tells me a lot about the way it hangs and the style, better than the stylised 'posed' pictures by the designers!
You see that's what worries me about selling it on preloved...I have a wedding dress that was altered incorrectly (too small for me) and I need to sell it but obviously it doesn't fit me so there isn't anyone I can put it on iyswim....0 -

Sitting wrong way round on the loo could work too!
LOL - she came to me looking really red in the face, said she'd tried to have a wee (solo!!) and couldn't do it because her "braces" were in the way.....:rotfl: we soon sorted her out, but I'm sure she won't be the last to make that mistake. I'm not bothering - I'm wearing the biggest pair of tummy-sucker-knickers you have ever seen, and when my new hubby is least aware I'll be whipping them off and it's up to him whether he thinks I have gone commando all day or not!! I shall remain "elusive" about it!
OP - I agree with Franny a pic of a "real" person in the dress is defo the way to go. Can you model it and get someone to take a pic? And don't forget good old "local papers" - I know someone who struggled to sell her dress on ebay, but sold it within a few days to someone who didn't have internet access.....
Best of luck, it's lovely so I am sure someone will snaffle it up!!0 -

Be warned i had light control pants on as my dress was silk and by the time i started eating it was getting uncomfortable...0 -
Little tip for brides who are worrying about loo thing !!!!!
And of course don't do what my best friend did - she'd never worn suspenders and stocking before in her life, so didn't really know what to do, and put them on over her knickers, and then when she wanted a wee, she couldn't take them off and there was almost a very big puddle on the floor as she was already busting by that point!!!
:T:T:T:T:T:T
In the above sentence you have answered a question that has puzzled me for quite some time and I've always been too embarrassed to ask thinking I was a bit daft lol
I always put the knickers on first and it really annoys me undoing everything to get the knickers off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
How silly of me ........... in fact i'm blushing a little right now

Not to put too fine a point on it bubbles, the only time they are meant/expected to be seen, you don't normally need your knickers! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Yep, its done like that because it shows the belt off better but the straps go under the knickers, better still have hold-ups
