Should I switch?
Options
Morning,
I switched from British Gas to EDF a couple of years ago and today (after reading Martins time to switch) I have just run my details through simply switch to get an idea how much I could save by switching again.
Staggeringly it threw up British Gas!! Apparently I could benefit from a massive 29.5% reduction taking my £384 down to just £270 per year! + the cashback! Sorted!
Here's the question, the last time I switched it took ages... I put an offer in on a new house last week and I'm hoping to move by the begining of October. My existing property is going to be let out and the tenant will be picking up the bill. Should I switch now and possibly benefit from a month or so of lower bills, or should I advise the tenant to do it once they have moved in?
Thanks

I genuinely don't know what to do!!0 -
It will normally take 5-6 [STRIKE]months[/STRIKE] weeks to switch. If you started the process today, the switch might not have completed by the time you move. I would let your tenant deal with it, if I were you.0
