Thanks. We don't get WTC anyway as he earns too much for that. We have a baby under 1, so get the enhanced rate for that too.Official DFW Nerd #148

hiya
glad you have done another thread. I was reading the posts yesterday and I wanted to just give my support but became utterly sidetracked by all the op's..... Anyway
All the best hope everything works out for you.

Hi Loobylou
I was following your other thread but my links to it seem to have gone wrong and I can't find it now.
Fingers crossed for the light at the end of the tunnel for you

Hi guys, and thanks for your continuing support. The thread was stopped on request because it started to get a little out of hand.
Things are looking slightly better today, hubby has got a job interview tomorrow and they are very very desperate for staff for an immediate start. Less monyey, but better than nothing and better than the dole. Fingers crossed for us for that. Also got a date for his appeal - Wednesday next week.Official DFW Nerd #148

Well, it went really well for him
They have said he can start when he wants, but given that his appeal is on Wednesday it would probably be better to get that out of the way first because there is a week long induction to do. So if he doesn't win his appeal, he has a job to start on the following week
It is less money, and he will have to travel, but it is still better than nothing. Will slip us back under the threshold for WTC as well, so that mean prescriptions etc exempt again.
I feel loads better now we have a fall-back planOfficial DFW Nerd #148
