Nationwide Flex Account Foreign ATM charges

Hi I'm currently in New Zealand and have been since 2008. I learned a while ago that nationwide are now passing on the visa charge to us for using ATMs abroad. 1% if using outside of europe. New Zealand is on the list with the charge, only I've been using the card a lot and can't notice a charge. I've looked at my statements and it doesn't mention anything so I am a bit worried. Why I receive a large bill or withdrawal from my account at some point to pay Visa fees? Or is this fee included into the exchange rate meaning I won't really be aware.
Please verify how these fees are taken please.

It's included in the exchange rate - there will be nothing more to pay0
