My Sky+ box has stopped giving me the + element. Any ideas what I can do to get the recording functions back?

And assuming you haven't cancelled Sky altogether. If you cancel your sub, you lose the '+' facilities of the box.Dave. :wave:0 -
Assuming you are up to date with your subscription and have a valid sky card plugged in, you could switch the box off at the wall wait 10 minutes and switch it on again.
If that doesn't work check both satellite feeds are screwed in tightly, and that you are getting a signal from both feeds using the services menu.
In the event of one failing check the cabling at the LNB(dish) end.
Still no joy ring Sky.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Phone Sky we had this problem once and they resent an activation signal and it was solved0

Thnks guys, yes I am up to date with the extortionate charges. I have checked all the connections as well and turned it off by the wall. I think the box may be on its way out, but guess I have to phone those lovely people at Sky.
Thanks for your help0 -
They will probably try to charge you for a callout. If they do, just ask to leave. They'll soon come see you for free.bristol_rob wrote: »Thnks guys, yes I am up to date with the extortionate charges. I have checked all the connections as well and turned it off by the wall.
