I will be having an exam at the Chelsea FC soon and was just wondering if anyone can recommend me a nice cheapish hotel such as travel lodge or something similar which isn't in a dodgy location either if possible :rotfl: Don't mind getting a train if it is fairly direct without changes
last time i stayed at the travel lodge on london road was fantastic :money: Cheap too!

Would that be an OK area? I just don't want to get mugged as I don't know where is dodgy or not lol.. But from the sound of things, Chelsea seems pretty good?0 -
It's fine around that area. It's like most towns and cities, you're ok on main roads and shopping areas. It's also within walking distance of Fulham Broadway tube station which is virtually next to the ground.0

Most of London isn't the scary sort of place you think it to be. Come on and enjoy yourself!0

We spent a week at the Millennium Copthorne at Chelsea football club last year. We got it on a deal from Omega Travel who seem to do great value short breaks (not sure if deals are the same this year). Any way that's an aside as you were asking about the area! The area around the hotel, and football ground, is very upmarket and rather nice, we had no problems at all and found it a very pleasant area to stay in. This hotel may be a bit too pricey for you though if you're on a budget, we only went there because the deal was so good, if you can get a deal though I'd thoroughly recommend it.0

Stamford Bridge is actually in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, splitting hairs I know and the upmarket bit still applies.0
