    A useful update, thank you.
Less helpfully, the OpQuaveo@met.police.uk email address just rejected an email from my gmail account with "550 5.4.1 Recipient address rejected: Access denied"
Edit: this was my mistake - see four posts down.

The earlier post referencing the email OpQuaveo may be from a scammer. Beware
  • That email address is genuine, I used it in July to communicate with the Met. I should have shared this earlier, that they sent me the following message regarding a Q&A Teams session in July held between the prosecuting barrister and some of the victims:

    Hi,

There was about 20 people who were in the MT meeting. It was hosted by Mark Fenhalls. It was an opportunity for him to thank all the victims for their help and patients, he said that this wouldn’t have happened if it had not been for the victims working so well with us.

The question was raised about the situation with the wives who were also on the indictment. Mark explained that there are currently reporting restrictions in place, so anything said about the wives at this time is not to be repeated on the strict instruction of the Judge. That being said, Angela Kelly was convicted of Money Laundering and is due to be sentenced on 02/09/2022. The case against Sharon Nicholls, the jury were unable to make a decision and this will be retrial in March 2023, it will not be a large trial, more like a weeklong with minimum witnesses (probably me).

Questions came up about the possible sentences and Mark explain some of the procedure.

The situation with Horn Buckle Mitchell came up and Mark discussed the role of HBM and that he cannot advise on any civil action against them.

One person brought up the situation of assets. Mark confirmed that all known assets have been frozen and will form part of the confiscation hearing, which will take place after sentence.

One person asked if the defendant would appeal against the sentences. Mark explained that it is possible but unlikely. They would have to have grounds for any appeal to be considered.

I didn’t make notes of the meeting and I hope that I have covered most of it for you. If there is anything that you would like to ask of the Police or the CPS please do so and direct it to the Quaveo email address.

Hope this is of interest. Mark is the Barrister.

If the email address is in fact not working now, try Rebecca Luke, who sent me this info on Rebecca.Luke@met.police.uk

Thanks for that. I did get a reply from the Attorney General's Office to the effect that the sentences, although a bit on the light side, were not considered to be unduly lenient.
I haven't been here for some time due to other commitments. Cheers.

I just tried this address again and paid closer attention to its punctuation. It looks odd but it does work if you use the whole thing exactly as below:
    Economiccrimemailbox-.opquaveo@met.police.uk

If you are referring to the one I posted, difficult for a scammer to work within met.police.uk but it is a terrible address.

The outcome of the Sharon Nicholls trial was that she was cleared of all charges. Details here:
I wonder how that affects the confiscation of assets etc if they were held jointly by the couple?
