hi, we are renting fully furnished, and our fridge blew up on monday, contacted agency who contacted landlord who came straight round (lives 2 doors down) after lots of umming and arring decided it needed replacing (a newspaper shoved underneath one side to keep it level was dated 1998!) it was blowing all the electrics whenever you attempted to turn it on but all he kept saying was "does the light work" Anyways its soon to be friday and no word, no milk no butter, all our frozen food thawed you get the picture, what do you peeps think is reasonable. I personally think it onl takes 1 day to buy a new bloody fridge freezer.

The landlord should have sorted this immediately. At the least he should have given you a delivery date within a day, although anything up to a week for actual delivery is not unreasonable. I'd get onto the agents and cause a stink if I were you. What are they agents for if not to sort out these problems.

I think it'd be quite reasonable to stop paying the rent till its sorted.0
