Natwest Online Banking Can You Register Twice?

Ive been registered for online banking awhile now with Natwest, i forgot my details for awhile and only got the details back like 2 months ago when my purse got stolen.
This evening i see a email from Natwest thanking me for registering with online banking, I'm worried the person who stole my card has registered for my online banking and now has access to my accounts.
Ive called up Natwest but their offices are now closed. Anyone else receive emails from Natwest regularly thanking them for opening online access?
I think im more worried because i had everything stolen not long ago. Thanks.

Ignore any emails, give NW a call tommorow - when you get through ask to go through to Online Banking and they can look at it for you. If you are worried about fraud, I would call them now 0845 300 3983 (24 hour)

From Natwest or is it just one of the zillions of spoof e-mails sent that to the unwary appear to come from "your bank" - and are asking you to "confirm" login or other details ?
Are there any URL links in the e-mails and if so where exactly are any of the URL links actually sending you ?
Don't click on any link but with your mouse over the link what URL is, for example appearing at the bottom left of your Browser (if your using IE) ?

Don't want to worry you at all but I've received a message from a friend today asking me to check on this site if anyone has mentioned any company called ADDENDUM as she has had 8 payments of £7.50 and 1 of £5 taken as a card transaction showing on her NATWEST account. She knows nothing of these at all, has no idea who ADDENDUM are and is totally stressed out as the bank have said it is going to take 10 days to look at her claim. She's already living hand to mouth as it is.RainbowLiberty0
