Pre approved bidder scam??

What is all this going on with cars(i just won one! doh!!). I missed a bargain buy it now car and then saw it relisted 25 minutes later so i won the buy it now only to see it relisted buy it now but only pre approved bidders. No emails from seller and now he has added that he cannot get emails from my messages on ebay(complete pants obviously if he can list he can see messages). Also he has said email me at blah blah.com (not actual address).
Whats the scam? Is the account hijacked (as it is 45 and 100% positive)
I have immediately negged as a warning for others.What do you reckon??

    Thats what i reckon but i dont get what it is as no one usually pays up until you are standing there looking at the actual car. So what is the scam?

    I just found this on ebay;
    the pre-approved bidders scam is usually the easiest scam to catch. this is where the person wants you to write to the outside of ebay messages. this way they can either get your email address or info. they might also ask for a buy it now that is to good to be true. ask you to pay outside of ebay but then tell you it will be covered under safe harbor. the other way to recognize these types of scams is with free shipping. you also need to beware that this type of scam is getting harder to notice. they will leave it open to all but after a few people bid they will change the auction to get anyone else that may come along. if by chance you did bid on one of these types of scams report it to ebay safe harbor. they will be able to let you know if this person is on the up and up. if by chance you have ever given any info then report and change any info such as passwords. better safe then sorry and remember if it sounds to good to be true then it most likely is.

    He can easily get my name and address from me winning the auction (if account is not hijacked) . Should i be worried?

    I wonder if it's worth talking to live help about it.

    If he's asking for people to email him, not send ASQ, it appears he doesn't have access to the account emails. (Why is that? Is it so hard to change an email address on a hijacked account?) If that's the case, no problem.

    I know , i just cant work it out. He must have access to account to list 3 times so he can see messages so why has he got his own email address listed? is it just so that he can send people rubbish emails?
